Join Weekend Puppy Raiser Carol Krauss'
Rally 'Round Richie!

For the past year, Carol Krauss has been a devoted Weekend Puppy Raiser on behalf of NEADS. She has been working with Richie, an exhuberant black lab puppy. On weekends, Carol would take Richie home from his prison training to continue his education, socialize him, and take him in public. As Carol explains:

As Richie grew, he became a model pup learning quickly and always eager to please, but he also developed bilateral elbow displaysia; NEADS had to decide whether to reject him from the program or see if he could be treated medically and continue his training.  He was about 80% through his training program, so close to graduation, that it was worth it to give surgery a try.

Unfortunately, NEADS does not have funds for this considerable expense in their general operating budget, so I decided to create an Emergency Medical Fund for NEADS of which Richie will be the first recipient, and we need your help.

Carol has taken the bull by the horns and created a buzz in her community around this Fund and her committment to Richie. Please help Carol spread the word -- forward this webpage through email, tell your friends, post it on Facebook.
