State Representatives

State Representatives interview potential NEADS clients and their families and locate potential clients in their area. They may also get involved in some marketing activities. A background in dog training or canine behavior is a plus. 

State Representatives will answer questions and discuss dog service opportunities for potential clients. An interpreter can be arranged at NEADS' expense for an interviewee who uses sign language. 

They provide home follow-up and support after the client returns home from training with the dog.
